Clarisse Liber
Clarisse was born in Tours, two hours south of Paris. She got a taste for music at a young age as her father, a guitarist, and older sisters played and sang in various Christian music groups. She studied the harp from ages six to sixteen and also sang in her church’s gospel choir. In August 2000, she participated in her first recording experience with this choir making the fundraising CD “Gospel en coeurs pour l’hôpital Clocheville”. Clarisse is a worship leader at her home church leading both the Praise Team and a young ladies’ choir. She also enjoys songwriting, contributing 3 Voices’ album’s only original song (Près de Toi) and has many more in the works for future recordings. She cites her major influences as American, Australian and French CCM songwriters Michael W. Smith, Darlene Zschech, Dan Luiten, Hillsong United… And Clarisse’s keen, true ear makes her the trio’s “go-to girl” for harmony, as she often sorts out complicated harmony lines.
