Allison Carvalho
Allison Carvalho was born in Salvador, Brazil, moving to the U.S. in 2001 and currently lives in France. She studied at the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil under Cristina Tourinho and Mario Ulloa, graduating in Music Education and Classical Guitar . In addition, Allison enjoyed further studies with some internationally renowned guitarists such as Abel Carlevaro, Eduardo Isaac, Fabio Zanon, Henrique Pinto, Paulo Belinatti, Thomas Patterson and Kevin Gallagher. Allison featured in festivals and concerts in Salvador, Natal and Porto Alegre in Brazil and also in NYC, USA where she lived and worked for 10 years and where she recorded her first album Céu Aberto, released in 2008. Now located in France, Allison is studying theology at the Adventist Faculty of Theology at Collonges-sous-Salève, where she also serves in the campus and church music department.
